Beginner's Mind
Hi!
Below is a recording from my guided journaling workshop, Beginner’s Mind.
Who this is for: Meant for and open to all! And an especially warm invitation to anyone who has never journaled before.
What you’ll experience:
In his book "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind," Shunryu Suzuki says:
"In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities; in the expert’s mind there are few.”
Inspired by the spirit of this Zen teaching, we’re going to explore how journaling can foster a beginner’s mindset and help you become a better problem solver, enhance your creativity, and see the world with more wonder. Through practical journaling prompts you’ll learn how to approach challenges, ideas, and everyday situations with open mindedness and curiosity.
What you’ll need:
Something to write with and something to write on (Pen/pencil — doesn’t matter! A journal, sheets of paper, post-its — whatever you have around you works just fine!)
Optional: A playlist you can turn on while you’re journaling on the prompts; otherwise, silence works!
Enjoy!
xx
