I first came across this marvelous Rilke quote over a decade ago whilst lying on the traction table at my chiropractor's office (she was also my new boss). It struck me like a bolt of lightening because at that point, I had been swimming in lostness and answer-seeking since graduating college a few years prior. And yet, even still, only just recently am I coming into more and more acceptance of not having the answers that deeply satisfy me. The reality is that I will probably never be satisfied with any answer I discover with my seeking, yearning mind. I can only "know" with my Being that the "answers" are embedded in the fabric of the Mystery Herself. Can that be good enough?, I wonder...

No answers or clearly articulated callings, yet, but you’ve probably been able to cut out some of the crappiness you didn’t challenge before. It’s good to have time just to find your feet even though you have no idea for where you’re heading.

Ah… I love your words so much. And thanks for the podcast reference too. I just wrote a post about healing (and the power of non ordinary consciousness states) and one of the things I said was that there is a space of being that is always more potent than doing and then this morning I’ve read your post and one other with this sentiment … it seems to be a concept that more and more people are getting on with which makes me so happy. I’m bookmarking this to reference your quote on the power of questions 🙏🏻❤️

I’ve tried to follow my curiosities much more this year, and it’s led me to some wonderful places. I still struggle with not knowing all the answers, but reading this post reaffirmed that I don’t need to!
